EventGhost

EventGhost is an an advanced but easy to use free open source automation application. It includes all the basic options you may need for scheduling your TellStick enabled electronics & lights. But the application's functions go far beyond simple scheduling.

It uses input devices such as infrared signals and wireless remote controls to control your computer and the electronics attached to it. TellStick is of course compatible with EventGhost. This means that you can use just about any EventGhost input to control your TellStick connected electronics. The application can be completely customized so the possibilities are endless.

You can as well run EventGhost via the included web server so that you gain access to your TellStick enabled gear via the internet. The computer that has the TellStick obviously needs to be turned on and connected to the internet for this to work. If the computer with the TellStick is connected to the internet via a router then you just need to turn on Port-Forwarding or Open-Port on the router.
