FlowEasy controls your Smartline Flow bulbs, plugs and strips straight from your phone. Bluetooth only — no hub to buy, no WiFi to set up, nothing to sign up for.

Smart lighting in about ten seconds

Screw in a bulb, or plug something in. That is the installation. No wiring, no electrician, no hub sitting in a cupboard, nothing to subscribe to — the lamps you already own become smart lighting the moment they have power.

What you get for that is light that matches what you are actually doing. Bright and cool while you work or cook. Low and warm through the evening. Off when the house is empty. It is the smallest change you can make to a room and one of the ones you notice most.

You can do it a lamp at a time. Start with the one you use every day, add the hallway when you get round to it. Because everything runs locally between your phone and the lamp, the bulb is the whole purchase — there is no hub to buy first and no monthly cost behind it.

Settings live inside each device rather than on our servers, so your lighting keeps working during an internet outage, and a lamp you move to another room arrives set up the way you left it.

Save a whole room as a scene

A scene is your lighting, exactly as you like it, in one tap. The reading lamp at 40%, the ceiling off, the strip behind the TV in deep amber. Set it once, name it, and bring it back whenever you want — for dinner, for films, for winding down.

Let it run on its own

Timers live in the device, so they keep working whether or not your phone is in the house. Three ways to use them:

• At a set time — lamps on at seven, off at midnight
• Countdown — off in twenty minutes, once
• Sunrise and sunset — follows the daylight where you live, so it shifts through the year on its own

Share it with the household

Lighting works better when everyone can reach it. Use Share my lamps to give another phone in the home the same control you have.

Keep your devices current

Update devices installs the latest firmware on your bulbs and plugs over Bluetooth. Worth running when you first set everything up, particularly if you have bought devices at different times.

Reach every lamp from anywhere in the home

Your devices pass signals to each other, so you only need to be near one of them to control them all. Around 30 metres in the open, less through walls — in practice, most of a normal home.
